 CATHODIC PROTECTION
Insulation sets are designed specifically to counter corrosion in pipe systems that have flanges of different metals.  The most common problem areas are on valves.  A typical set consists of the following:

  • An insulating gasket made from phenolic resin.

  • Gaskets bonded either side of the insulating gasket.

  • High tensile bolts or studs.

  • Insulating sleeves in fiberglass or phenolic resin to fit over the studs.

  • Insulating washers made from phenolic resin.

  • Precision flat steel washers 4-5mm thick.

  • In areas of high lightening occurrence a spark gap is also fitted.

  • We have made sets from 50mm up to 1200 mm
